For three years, the honest limit on AI was capability.

That is over, and most people have not updated.👇 1 - Notice the shift. The complaints in practitioner communities are no longer "the model cannot do this." They are about tokens, bills, bugs, and downtime. 2 - Audit where your own frustration actually comes from. Track it for a week and the pattern will surprise you. A Perfect Prompt: Act as a diagnostic coach. Help me build a simple one-week log to track every time an AI tool frustrates me, categorized by whether the cause was capability, cost, reliability, or my own process. Tell me what each category implies about the fix. Ask me any questions you have. 3 - Stop buying capability for reliability problems. A better model does not solve an outage, and it does not solve a workflow that was never written down. 4 - Reduce the number of moving parts in your most important workflow. Every integration is a place it can break. A Perfect Prompt: Act as a systems simplifier. Here is my current workflow with every tool and handoff: [DESCRIBE THE FULL CHAIN]. Identify which steps add real value and which exist only because I built it that way, then propose a version with fewer failure points that produces the same result. Ask me any questions you have. 5 - Ask whether a model needs to be in the critical path at all. Some of the best-performing automations in production have no model in them. A Perfect Prompt: Act as an automation architect who prefers boring solutions. This workflow currently uses AI at this step: [DESCRIBE IT]. Tell me honestly whether a rule, a template, or a simple trigger would do the same job more reliably, and where the AI genuinely earns its place. Ask me any questions you have. 6 - Rebuild the workflow with the model moved to a place where failure is recoverable, usually a draft step a human reviews rather than an action a customer sees. A Perfect Prompt: Act as a workflow redesigner. Move the AI in this process from a live customer-facing step to a draft-and-review step: [DESCRIBE THE PROCESS]. Show me the new sequence, what the human reviews, and what we lose in speed versus what we gain in reliability. Ask me any questions you have.
